We’ve had entries from Spain, Italy, London, Cardiff and of course the Camberley area!
In a darkened room for two days the entries were watched and the longest compiled. This was then sent to our judges – BAFTA Award winning actress and C.I.F. patron, Juliet Aubrey, Course Leader in Film Study at the University of Creative Arts in London, Polly Nash and David Nutall from Fudge Animation.
Tonight, there will be live music in the bar from Jack Francis and his band, complimentary arrival drinks and the long list will be shown on the flat screens (with the volume down). We will then go through the the main auditorium where the 12 short listed films will be shown on the cinema screen.
The winners will be announced with the prizes presented by Juliet Aubrey and much cheering and weeping will ensue! Hoorah!
You are very welcome to join us, just arrive at Camberley Theatre for 7pm.
Films are very much part of the C.I.F tonight – it’s the 2nd night of the Rooftop Film Festival, organised by our friends at Collectively Camberley with ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels‘ on the roof of the multi storey car park! In fact, you can leave the awards ceremony at the theatre and walk over to the car park and see that film too! #LoveCamberley
