A night for your diaries! This is going to be rather fantastic – two brilliant bands to kick start the whole CIF18

Here’s local band Kodiak Island with, ‘No Easy Game’ from their Orange EP.


And from Goring, The Mysteries with their take on this E.L.O. classic!


Indian Circus

This wonderful Indian Circus will be performing at the afternoon element of the Camberley Carnival on Saturday 23rd June. This and loads of other brilliant entertainment will all be taking place at the London Road Rec (behind The Arena) after the colourful parade has made it’s way through town.

We’ll be announcing lots more acoustic acts, walk about acts, gymnastic, art tent and retro computer games details as the weeks go by!

Acoustic Acts for The Carnival – Jess Morgan

We are busy working away booking loads of fantastic things for you to do in the afternoon after the Carnival has made it’s colourful parade through Camberley on Saturday 23rd June.

From noon onwards, we will have food stalls, live music, a bar, retro computer games, an Indian circus and much more all at the London Road Recreation Ground, just behind The Arena.

This year we will be adding an acoustic live music tent and we are delighted to welcome the very talented Jess Morgan to entertain us……

There will be a whole afternoon of fantastic events taking place at the London Road Recreation Ground (behind The Arena) once the Carnival has made it’s colourful journey through town. Film Masterclass with Gavin Irvine

6 – 7pm Masterclass with Gavin Irvine

Gavin is a multi-award winning Northern Irish writer/director based in London.

In 2018 he won the Special Jury Award at the Canada Independent Film Festival, Montreal, for his surreal comedy, 2:40 to London, which also won him Best Director and Best Short at the Portugal International Film Festival in 2017 (both Filmfreeway top 100 festivals), and a further 3 nominations – Best Score, Best Comedy and Best Short – at various other film festivals.


Gavin’s masterclass will be focussing on the process of making a short film; from script to screen and how to promote it afterwards – touching on all aspects of the process – writing, directing, producing, editing, music. Gavin will also point out the pitfalls and the things that must be put in place for the project to be a success. There will be a Q&A session with Gavin afterwards.
