Thanks so much to everyone who attended our sold out first ever Camberley Comedy Festival on Saturday! It all took place inside a gorgeous tipi in Camberley Park.
Here’s a breakdown of the day, starting with the empty park……
The first children arrive for the Kid’s Comedy Workshops at 10am
We had wet weather in the morning but the generator (and tipi) was dry!
Will from The Cabin and Natalie from Camberley Theatre after the children’s workshops, getting ready for the comedians.
2:45pm The audience start to arrive..
The Cabin’s pop-up bar is in action.
More people arriving…the sun started to shine.
3pm First up, the very funny Mark Simmons. Mark was working on ideas for Edinburgh, we were treated to some hilarious one liners.
Relaxing in between the acts.
4pm Next, Anil Desai, brilliant quick-fire impressions. He had us in stitches with his Robert De Niro before he even spoke!
All over by 5pm! See you next year! 🙂
