Camberley Carnival 2019 Photos

The sun shone, the crowds came, the people smiled. Camberley Carnival 2019 was a wonderful day, the community spirit was out in force. Thank you Camberley!

Here’s the parade.

The Mayor of Surrey Heath, Councillor Robin Perry and the Mayoress, Jill Boxall took part in the parade in a beautiful cream Rolls Royce Cloud III and then judged the parade entries.

The winners were the 8th Camberley Scouts, Beavers and Cubs group – congratulations!

There then followed an afternoon of live music, gymnastic and dance displays, children’s theatre, retro computer games, food, drink and laughter.

Children’s theatre came in the shape of ‘Chores’ from Australia – they were brilliant!

See you next year! We’ll start inviting people / schools / organisations / businesses /community groups to join the 2020 parade in a few months – please keep Saturday 20 June in your diaries – we’d love you to join in, the more the merrier!
